Description

When the boat comes in by Tom Brown.

The Manchester Ship Canal company was set up in 1882 with the intention of building a canal capable of handling ocean-going ships from the estuary of the River Mersey to Manchester. Twelve years later, the canal and docks were opened by Queen Victoria on the 21st May 1894.

From an original pastel by Tom Brown, the print has an image size of 38 x 27cm and supplied with a mount to fit a 50 x 40 cm frame.

Registered with the Fine Art Trade Guild as an ArtSure approved, open-edition, giclee print.
