Born in Derbyshire and whilst growing up in the Peak District I grew to love the beauty and drama of nature which I attempted to capture as a girl in my painting and drawing.

After a successful career in nursing, I was once again able to pick up a paintbrush.

Now settled in Lancashire and once again inspired by nature and along with a passion for colour and texture, I capture in my stylised and quirky paintings the joy of nature in the things I see in my everyday life and that people can relate to.
