Portrait of Tamara De Lempicka by David Makinson 2020
Tamara de Lempicka was a Polish painter who spent her working life in France and the United States. She is best known for her polished Art-Deco portraits of aristocrats and the wealthy, and for her highly stylized paintings of nudes.
The open-edition, giclee print has been registered with the Fine Art Trade Guild. The purchase is for the print only, a mountboard is not included with the purchase.
This painting was inspired by a monochrome photograph of Tamara de Lempicka – D’Ora Fine Art Images/Heritage Images/Scala, Florence.
All profits David makes from the sale of his art will be donated to The Somerville Foundation, a UK charity that supports adults with life-long congenital heart problems.
