Macquarie House is situated at the side of Loch Ba in a very beautiful part of central Mull.

The original watercolour painting was made from a sketch whilst visiting the island. In the painting, the Macquarie House is simply treated in order to contrast with the texture of the surrounding landscape. The autumnal colours of the background hills are subtly lit by the moonlight.

The print has an image size of 12 x 12″ on a 15 x 15″ sheet and has been registered with the Fine Art Trade Guild as a limited edition of 50 prints. Each print is supplied unmounted and individually signed, numbered and stamped and supported by a certificate of authenticity.
