Lazy Days of Summer by Tim Shorten<\/h4>\n

Over the winter of 2019-20 I had been mulling over some photographs <\/span>I had taken of lighthouses a couple of years earlier, and as the lockdown <\/span>was announced in March I suddenly realised that if I was going to be <\/span>holed up alone in my studio for weeks or months to come I needed a new <\/span>project. Like many of us, I also wanted to think about better times ahead <\/span>rather than dwell on the gloom. The result was a series of sunny, optimistic <\/span>pictures which contrast with the moody interiors of jazz clubs and railway <\/span>stations. Nonetheless, the time-traveller within can still be seen!<\/span><\/p>\n
