Large Format Printing and Giclee Printing Services

Each stage of the Large Format Printing process is fully colour managed, from monitor, scanner and print and visually inspected and compared against the original artwork (if available) before despatch. For artists and photographers that want to be involved in the process we also offer a colour proof service, we will only commence with the print once approval has been received. Alternatively, our paper profiles are available to download for soft-proofing together with a guide on how to use them. These profiles have been set up using our printer, inks and paper to ensure consistent and repeatable results.

The passion for colour and printing comes from over twenty years of experience in the Large Format Printing industries. This includes printing ink manufacturing, working with printers and designers to ensure that colours printed are as close as possible to the design. Following on from this, I developed a greater understanding of colour by working, as the technical manager, for a pigment manufacturer in Stockport (ec pigments). These pigments were used in a wide range of applications including inks, paints and artist colours. The skills and knowledge obtained from industrial experience is also supported by academic study, having graduated from Leeds University, Department of colour and polymer science, in 2008 with a BSc in printing, packaging and imaging.
