Howard Gardener, in addition to doing fantastic art, has recently had a paper sculpture accepted for the Threadneedle exhibition in London. Is my scan / photograph good enough?
When it comes to printing your art work you will need to have the picture converted to a digital file. This can be done by photographing your art with a digital camera, or by scanning your art on a flat bed scanner. This is the most important stage of producing a good quality print, the better the quality of the digital file, the better the print. At JAK Fine Art printing we offer a free digital file checking service (pre-flight check list), we check your digital image to ensure that the resolution is suitable for Giclee printing (minimum 300dpi), the picture quality is sharp enough and confirm the size of the image. Unfortuantely, we cannot guarantee the print quality of other printers.
